The firm was launched in 1973 as Harford Business Services Ltd., and was located in Forest Hill, MD. At that time, the firm's focus was on accounting and tax preparation services for small businesses in the Harford County and Baltimore regions.

The firm's clients liked the fact that they limited the number of clients they accepted so they could offer them personalized, one-on-one service – something the founder and his staff still do to this day. About the Founder

The founder of the firm has been an active accountant and tax preparer for over thirty-five years and maintains his accreditation through annual seminars and other approved education courses. He studied accounting and taxation at the University of Baltimore.

He is a member of the NATP (National Association of Tax Professionals) and the Maryland Society of Accountants, from which he receives his annual CPE accreditation.

While the focus of his business has now moved towards online tax preparation services, the firm still provides accounting and incorporation services to their existing clientèle in businesses such as financial planning, florists, restaurants, contractors, and more.
